Beginner Lessons

Beginner lessons are held at the Brisbane Bridge Centre (BBC) usually twice a year. Depending on enquiries, daytime and/or evening classes are held.

Course: 6 weekly sessions based upon Audrey Grant, Bridge Basics 1. Each lesson lasts 2 hours.

Cost: $70 including lessons and play + book/notes + free tea/coffee & biscuits.

Location: 104 Frederick Street, Annerley, located within Yeronga Memorial Park with plenty of parking. We are the first building on the left as you enter the park.

Following lessons, beginners transition into our supervised play sessions, in which they can continue skill development within a friendly atmosphere. Once beginners have had some time in supervised play, we hold improver lessons. These lessons address more complex aspects of the game to enable increasing participation and success within our club competitive sessions.

Improver Lessons

After players have had some time in Supervised Play following Beginner Lessons, they learn more aspects of the game in Improver Lessons.

Supervised Play

To accommodate a gradual transition to our competitive sessions, BBC offers supervised play each week on Tuesday night and Thursday morning. In all these sessions, you can call the Supervisor for help during the bidding process and play process.
